Scotland’s national team made it to the world cup for the first time since 1998, and many supporters in Bangkok showed up at the bars to watch the game, and I did what little I could, and showed up with my bagpipes.

Bangkok St. Andrew’s Society
I know some of the members of the Bangkok St. Andrew’s Society, and although not specifically invited by them, they were kind enough to let me sit with them at the long table at Upper Deck.
First game against Haiti
At the first goal against Haiti, it was a great chance to strike up and play Scotland the Brave. It got the crowd going and everyone was feeling pretty great.
At the end of the game, I struck up again to play Cock o’ the North to play something upbeat.
