Bangkok had a lot of events happening for St. Patrick’s Day, and so there were a few opportunities for me to play. For more info on events, you can also check the listings on BangkokBeerGuide.com

I got to play a few tunes at Kimpton Maa-Lai Hotel on Saturday March 15th, in between sets by the Porter Bhoys. Plenty of Guinness was poured, and it was a fun time being outside on the patio listening to the music, and playing a few tunes myself.
St. Patrick’s Day
On St. Patrick’s Day, Monday March 17th, I had the chance to isit a number of places, 8855 and O’Shea’s Irish Sports bar. I played a few tunes at each, and played with my friend Mark on the roof of O’Shea’s. I met Mark when we were both playing with the British Club Bangkok Pipe Band.
Guinness Beer Garden

March 20th
Guinness invited me to play at their beer garden that they set up in Silom. There were DJ’s, food stalls, dancers, painting, and of course plenty of cold fresh Guinness.
