Saint Patrick’s Day, March 17th, fell on a Sunday this year, and Bangkok had a variety of events to choose from. There were a number of Irish bars and other bars putting on events, I was able to play some pipes at Fatty’s Bar & Diner on Saturday night, and spent all day Sunday at O’Shea’s Irish bar in Suhkumvit.

I showed up and played a few tunes in a bar that was a little small for the bagpipes. It is a Wisconsin dive bar, and it is always a good place to go for good bar food and beer.
