The annual Alex Forbes Memorial Football game took place at the end of August. Teams were split up between players in Scotland and England sides, so of course it made sense to have an Alex Forbes Football Bagpiper.
It is great to be able to play bagpipes in Bangkok for football games or events, and it is made even better when there is a bit of beer and pizza afterwards. The pizza was supplied by my friends at Pizza Mania (FB link) – Delicious pizza in Bangkok!

The Alex Forbes Memorial Anglo Scottish Cup is an annual (usually) football game played at the Bangkok Patana School, and this was the 2nd year that I was able to join in on the fun with my pipes and kilt as the Alex Forbes Football Bagpiper.
The Bangkok Patana School is also the setting for the Asian Gaelic Games that I played with a friend last year. Plans are already in the works for me to return and play again at the end of November.
