The Siam Whisky Club hired some of the band members for their 10th anniversary dinner.
Great Bagpipes for a great event
A couple pipers and a drummer from the British Club Bangkok Pipe Band were at the Roadhouse, in Silom part of Bangkok, to play for the special event.
We tuned up on the 4th floor out of the air conditioning, then walked down to the 2nd floor to play the opening and a couple other tunes.
We sounded quite good as we played, so the organizers made share to share their very special whisky. (See below)
Whisky clubs seems to really like pipers, like the Hanoi Whisky club.

52 year-old Single Malt Whisky
A special event where I got to try the oldest whisky I have ever had – a 52 year old Glen Grant. I can not say I am an expert whisky drinker, though I have had some experience. Even with my bit of knowledge, it was pretty awesome to try such a unique dram that was older than I. Thanks Siam Whisky Club!
